Beatty talked about the horrific tragedy in Charleston where 9 people were killed at Emanuel AME Church by Dylan Roof.  She posed the question whether families, schools, churches, mosques, synagogues and the media were committed on an-on-going basis to discuss the issues of racism, hate and morality after the dust settles. And more important, what if any ACTION are these groups prepared to take?

Beatty talked about on-line dating, sexual assault on college campuses and the hook-up culture with her 21 year-old guest, Caroline Aguirre, a journalism student at Hunter College in New York City.  Unfortunately, according to Caroline, today's college youth are struggling with issues including: relationships and sex without the benefit of any substantial relationship education.
